Typical Course of a SAB^®-Application

The procedure of a typical self assessment workshop with SAB® can be presented like this:

The participants of the self assessment — as a rule the 8-20 highest executives within the organisation — obtain a two hour lasting introduction into holistic quality management systems, putting especially weight to the used Excellence Model (EFQM, MBNQA, CAF etc.) and the according evaluation scheme (Scoring Guideline).

Subsequently, the participants complete questionnaires, which are divided into two dimensions The first dimension comprises the importance of particular focal points for the own organisation. The second dimension refers to the attainment of the according focal points. All questionnaires, which already have been completed by the participants, are scanned parallely.

The computer-aided evaluation with the SAB®-TOOL developed from us for this means guarantees a fast and highly accurate report of results within few minutes (effectively 5 minutes) after processing the last questionnaire.

The professional visualised results are elaborated by our experienced presenters. It is put weight on the conviction of the executives, on lack of information and deficits in communication as well as on organisational strengths and improvement areas. These aspects are discussed with the participants, subsequently.

By means of our modules «Summarised Analysis» and «Prioritising-Workshop» improvement areas can be further analysed and concretised subsequent to the Basic Analysis (in most cases, we suggest one Prioritising-Workshop on one further day). Thereby, improvement projects can be generated from essential improvement areas. This can be supported by the presentation of appropriate methods and according «best practices»

After the prioritising of improvement areas, concrete improvement projects can be planned and initiated. Our experienced moderators accompany this process on demand, for example with a workshop organised for this purpose. In this context, the SAB®--TOOL offers with an additional module for project planning also the possibility of intuitive administration and monitoring of projects. The advantage is that the respective person in charge is able to contrast the project planning with the gathered results from the self assessment(s) to every time. Thus, the progress of taken actions gets more illustrative and «course corrections» can be conducted on time. For this means, the appropriate methods are provided for a respective better realisation of the project from a method-database.
