Brake up barriers with SAB®
Self Assessment Methods enable the implementation of Excellence-Models. Primary Target of a self assessment process is an increase in organisational efficiency by the realisation of improvement potentials and planning of according actions. Especially a process realised by own virtue helps the organisations to take extensive insight into the own achievement capability. Thus, a self assessment method has to support this process optimally and to provide the organisation with visible benefit. For achieving this, self assessment methods have to counteract particular barriers, which endanger the sustainability of the self assessment process or even block its initiation. Such barriers are missing sensitivity of leadership, which lead to internal problems of acceptance. The reasons for this arises from high/ not tolerable expenses of financial and human resources or time limits, which are related to self assessment methods. Beyond, the self assessment methods lack of stringent, clear systematics, which make the very general contents of Excellence-Models suitable for the reality in organisations and indisputably express the dynamic of such models. As a consequence, the results of a self assessment are limited tangible, the organisation cannot identify benefits and the results are hardly comparable, be it in regard to internal matters or to other organisations |
