The self assessment process ends with a wide planning of improvement actions. In the first place, it is necessary to set a clear project objective. Subsequently, operating figures for the project are defined together. If possible, according variation parameters for the operating figure will be defined. Finally, the itemized steps within the project are specified based on a concrete time schedule und with clear responsibilities.The active participation of the top management at this critical stage of the self assessment essentially contributes to a general acceptance of the projects and especially motivates for further endeavours on the way to business excellence.
